The participant will gain the knowledge and skills to plant and maintain established garden areas and/or re-vegetation sites, install mulch, control invasive and noxious plant, apply soil improvement and stabilisation and plant protection measures.

This course contains the following elements:

1. Inspect garden and its components

2. Plant out into garden beds

3. Provide aftercare and maintenance to gardens

4. Mulch and add organic matter to garden bed

 Practical Exam, Oral Questioning

, Landscape workers, New Entrants and in-service staffs, Landscape Technicians and those willing know about the plant vegetation.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

• Understand the principles and techniques of planting various types of plants.
• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure healthy growth of planted areas.
• Apply mulching techniques effectively to conserve soil moisture and improve plant health.
• Follow safety and environmental guidelines during planting and maintenance activities.

Learners requires a minimum attendance of 75% for course for learners to meet assessment eligibility in order to attain certificate upon successful completion.
